John Anthony Espinoza is a patient man - a quality that has certainly proven to act in his favor. John Anthony is a seasoned bench jeweler hailing from Galveston, TX, who specializes in wedding and engagement rings as well as in designing custom gem settings and unique one-of-a-kind designs. With more than 30 years of time devoted to learning and perfecting his craft, John Anthony watched and waited on the developing CAD jewelry software programs before integrating it into his design process.
From Galveston he settled into Houston, TX for a decade before traveling north to Plattsburgh, NY, where he got his first taste of Burlington, VT. Based on a feeling of déjà-vu, he traveled across Lake Champlain to Burlington, where the high-end jewelry designer worked for a local jewelry store, Preston Jewelers. He then left Vermont for a few years, and returned in 1993 to start his own business, which started out as a wholesale manufacturer, creating fine platinum jewelry for stores across the map. In 1994 John’s platinum bridal designs were recognized and published by The Platinum Guild International – USA. They are the marketing arm for the worlds platinum mines, and they promote only the finest platinum manufacturers around the world.
In 1995 John found a studio space on the second floor on Church Street where he established his business for the next 15 years. His studio was located right above a local music store which had been in business for many years. When the music store decided to move and join their sister store Burlington Guitar & Amp in 2009, John Anthony jumped at the opportunity and opened John Anthony Designer Jewelry on the main drag, 128 Church Street in November 2009. John would like to invite you to his new store where the design possibilities are endless.
